ChinaParts has developed a method to quickly and accurately deliver your products based on our sourcing experience. When followed, this method guarantees the highest quality, lowest cost, and quickest time to your door.

1) Quote request – Select a part or part family and send to ChinaParts™;

• All related drawings, specifications, and work instructions
• Annual usage by part number
• Desired purchase lot size and frequency
• Quality requirements – unless supplied, ChinaPartsTM standard quality plan to be followed
• Packaging and marking requirements
• Customer to provide samples of existing parts to minimize intangibles such as appearance attributes not specified on drawings and other specifications

2) ChinaParts quotation – Depending on part complexity, a quotation will be sent within 1-2 weeks. The quote will include;

• Lowest price based on usage and purchase lot sizes, quoted FOB: inland US port
• Tooling cost and description, always separate from piece price
• Optional delivered price
• Optional piece price for JIT shipments from our Western Pennsylvania warehouse
• Leadtimes for first approval part and production deliveries
• Technical issues to be discussed or further information to be supplied by customer prior to order acceptance

3) Development order – Pending successful review;

• Customer purchase order for any required tooling and no-charge validation samples
• 50% tooling cost to be due upon receipt of order
• Customer to supply any required inspection gauges for first order. All subsequent standard gauges to be supplied by ChinaPartsTM

4) Pre-production release

• ChinaParts to produce tooling per quotation
• No-charge validation samples with first article inspection reports to be supplied
• No production to begin until all customer requirements have been met and the customer verifies that the parts are fit for production, any further required samples to attain full customer satisfaction to be supplied at no-charge
• Development and agreement of standard part leadtimes
• Tooling balance to be paid upon acceptance of validation samples
• Establish production quality plan

5) Production release

• Production purchase orders -
  • Customer managed releases
  • Annual blanket agreements with scheduled releases
  • Frequent JIT releases from ChinaPartsTM warehouse
• Production parts delivered on time, to agreed quality plans, and at agreed pricing
